These terms, together with our Privacy policy and Fair use policy, are an agreement between you and Muhammad Haroon Subhani Shaheen ("QRflick", "we"), Magallanes Kalea 37, Barakaldo, Bizcaya, VAT ID 61181103E. You accept them when you create an account, and you're asked to accept any new version before you continue using QRflick. If you don't accept them, don't use the service.
1. The service
QRflick lets you create dynamic QR codes and short links whose destination you can change after printing, digital business cards, email signatures and business profiles. Some features are only in paid plans; the current plans, limits and prices are on our pricing page. Features marked beta, and features provided with third parties (see section 10), may change or disappear.
2. Your account
You must be at least 16 and give accurate details. If you use QRflick for a business, you confirm you can bind that business. Keep your password and two-factor codes safe: you're responsible for everything done in your account. Tell us at team@qrflick.com if you think someone else has access. One person, one account: you may not sell, share or transfer an account or a plan.
3. Your codes and what we promise
We design QRflick so printed codes keep working. If you move to a lower plan, your existing codes keep redirecting; items above the new plan's limit become read-only until you upgrade or delete others. We may still disable or delete a code or account if it breaks our Acceptable use policy, if the law or an authority requires it, if you delete it, under section 8 (inactive free accounts), or as described in sections 7 and 13.
This is a description of how we run the service, not a guarantee that any code will work forever or without interruption. Do not rely on a code for anything where an outage could cause serious harm.
4. Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable use policy. We may disable content or accounts that break it, without notice when people are at risk (for example phishing or malware), and we may report it to the authorities.
5. Plans, payments and withdrawal
Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until you cancel in Settings → Plan & billing. The plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for; we don't refund the rest of a period unless the law says we must. A trial applies only when it is explicitly offered at sign-up; it never converts to a paid plan without you choosing a paid plan and entering payment details.
Prices are shown at checkout, with VAT where it applies. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see your card details. We may change prices and plan contents. A change never affects a period you've already paid for, and for subscriptions we'll tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies, so you can cancel first.
Chargebacks and fraud. If a payment is reversed or found fraudulent we may suspend the account and any Lifetime or Pro benefits linked to it.
Consumers in the EU have 14 days to withdraw from a new subscription or Lifetime purchase. By using paid features straight away you ask us to start the service during that period; if you withdraw afterwards, you pay a proportionate amount for what you've already used, and we refund the rest. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be waived.
6. Lifetime plans
"Lifetime" means for the lifetime of the QRflick service, not your life and not for any minimum period. You pay once and we don't charge you a subscription for the plan's features for as long as we operate QRflick and offer them. It does not give you a right to the service continuing for any particular time, and it is not an investment, a licence to run the software yourself or a transferable asset.
A Lifetime plan has the limits shown on the pricing page when you buy (for example the number of dynamic codes, cards and signatures) and excludes features that aren't listed as included, such as API access. We may keep improving and changing QRflick. If a feature costs us more than it earns, or a third party changes its terms or prices, we may change, limit or retire that feature, with notice by email where we reasonably can, while keeping the core redirect service for your codes for as long as we operate it. Lifetime offers may be limited in number and are one per person.
7. Fair use
Plans described as unlimited, or with high limits, are for normal business use as described in our Fair use policy, which is part of these terms. "Unlimited" means we don't set a fixed number for that item, not unlimited use of our servers, storage or paid third-party services. If your use is far above what's typical, or puts a strain on our systems or costs, we'll contact you by email first and may suggest a plan that fits. We may slow down or temporarily limit the affected feature, code or API key only as that policy describes, or straight away if there's an urgent risk to the service or to others. We never charge you more without your agreement.
8. Inactive free accounts
If a free account has had no sign-in for 24 months and none of its codes has been scanned in that time, we may delete it and its codes after emailing you at least 60 days beforehand. Paid accounts are not deleted for inactivity while they are paid up.
9. Your content
You keep all rights to what you upload and create. You give us the licence needed to host, copy, display and deliver it for you and to run the service (including backups). You confirm you have the right to use it and that it doesn't infringe anyone's rights or break the law. You're responsible for the destinations of your links and for what your codes lead to.
10. Third-party services
Parts of QRflick rely on other companies, for example Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (network), Google and Apple (sign-in and Wallet passes) and Anthropic (reading photos in the card scanner). Their terms apply to you when you use those features, and we aren't responsible for their services, outages or changes. Wallet passes and scans are a snapshot taken when you create them.
11. Availability and no warranties
We work hard to keep QRflick fast and online, but we provide it "as is" and "as available" and can't promise it will always be available, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. We may perform maintenance and make changes. Nothing here excludes warranties or rights that can't be excluded by law.
12. Liability
To the maximum extent the law allows:
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost sales, loss of data or goodwill, or the cost of printing, reprinting, advertising or distributing materials that carry a code, even if a code is unavailable, paused, disabled or the service is shut down.
- Our total liability to you for everything connected to QRflick is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event. For a Lifetime plan, that amount is the price you paid for it.
- We don't limit liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, including for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury.
You're responsible for keeping your own backups of your content and for choosing the materials you print.
13. If we stop QRflick
We may close or sell QRflick, or stop offering it, for business, legal or technical reasons, including if we become insolvent. If that happens we'll try to give you at least 90 days' notice, and at least 30 days unless the law, an authority or an insolvency makes that impossible. During that time you can export your data (codes, destinations, cards and leads) from Settings → Privacy & data. We can't promise that links will keep redirecting after the service ends.
If we end the service, we don't refund Lifetime purchases. For a subscription we refund the unused part of the period you've paid for. This doesn't limit any rights you have by law.
14. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Privacy & data. We may suspend or end your account if you break these terms or the law, with notice where we reasonably can. Sections that by nature should survive, including 9, 11 and 12, continue after your account ends.
15. If you use QRflick for business
If you use QRflick for your business, you agree to compensate us for claims and costs caused by your content, your destinations or your breach of these terms, and these terms apply in place of consumer-only provisions that don't apply to businesses.
16. Changes, law and courts
We'll tell you by email about material changes at least 30 days before they apply, and ask you to review and accept the new version when you next sign in. If you don't agree, you can cancel, export your data and delete your account before then. These terms are governed by Spanish law. Disputes go to the courts of our registered address; if you're a consumer you can also use the courts of your country of residence and the protection of its mandatory laws. EU consumers can also use the online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
