Google reviews

One scan to your Google review form.

Happy customers rarely search for your business to leave a review. A QR code on the receipt, table or counter takes them straight to the form.

Quick answer

A Google review QR code opens the “write a review” form of your Google Business Profile, so a customer can rate you without searching. In QRflick, choose the Google review type and paste your review link or Place ID. Because the code is dynamic, you can change the destination later and see how many people scanned it.

Start with the next action

Choose the menu, contact card, service page or schedule a visitor needs at the moment they scan.

Put it where it helps

Use signs and printed materials with a clear call to action and enough room to scan.

Keep the link relevant

Update your destination when the offer, details or schedule changes.

Learn from activity

Use scan trends on the paid plans to understand which placements visitors use.

From idea to connection

Make it useful. Keep it current.

  1. 1 Choose the destination.
  2. 2 Create and test your code.
  3. 3 Print with a clear call to action.
  4. 4 Update the link as your business changes.

Where do I find my review link?

In your Google Business Profile, choose “Ask for reviews” (or “Get more reviews”) and copy the short review link. You can also use your Place ID, which Google’s Place ID Finder shows for any business on the map.

Paste either one into a Google review code. A review-request link opens the review form directly; a shared business link opens your listing, where people tap “Write a review”.

Where should the code go?

Where the visit ends well: on the receipt or bill, a table card, the counter, a thank-you card in a delivery, or the back of a business card. Add a short request such as “Enjoyed your visit? Tell us on Google”.

Use one code per placement if you want to compare them. Each dynamic code has its own scan count, so you can see whether the receipt or the table card works better.

What does Google allow?

Google’s rules for reviews say you must not offer anything in return for a review, and must not ask only happy customers. Ask everyone the same way and let the review be honest.

A QR code only makes leaving a review easier; it doesn’t change who can review or what they write.

Questions, answered

Is a Google review QR code free?

You can create dynamic codes on the Free plan, within its limit. Paid plans add more codes and detailed scan statistics.

What if my business moves or changes name?

The printed code keeps working. If your review link changes, update the code’s destination in QRflick instead of reprinting.

Can I see how many reviews came from the code?

You can see how many people scanned it. Google doesn’t tell anyone which reviews came from a scan, so compare the scan count with your review count over time.
